Untangle

Reposition the points until not one line crosses another.

About Untangle

A network of points and connecting lines has been drawn badly on purpose, and putting it right is the whole of the task. Every puzzle was made by scrambling a layout that had no crossings at all, so a clean arrangement is always there to be found. Crossed lines show red and clear ones green, which turns the work into steady reduction rather than blind search. The approach that works is to pull the outermost points well apart first, giving the interior room, and only then tease apart the knot that remains in the middle.

How to Play

Drag any point to move it; its lines follow. A red line crosses something; a green line is clear. Bring the crossings to zero to complete the level. Each level adds more points.

💡 Tips & Strategy

Move the outermost points first. Drag the vertices with the most connections to the edge of the board and let the rest fall towards the middle; crossings usually come from a heavily connected point sitting inside the web when it belongs outside it.

Untangle in regions rather than chasing individual crossings. Pick a cluster, spread its points wide enough to see what connects to what, tidy it, then move on. Fixing one crossing at a time tends to create another a moment later.

When two edges cross, one of their four endpoints is on the wrong side of the other edge. Identify which point that is and move it across rather than nudging both lines — the crossing then resolves permanently instead of shifting.

Space is your friend. A layout that looks hopeless while cramped often has an obvious structure once the points are pulled apart, so spread everything out before judging whether a crossing is real.
