🔟 Number Match

Clear pairs that match or total ten, wherever the path between them is open.
About Number Match
A grid of digits, from which pairs are removed when they are equal or when they total ten, provided nothing uncleared stands between them. Connections run horizontally, vertically and diagonally, and continue from the last cell of one line into the first cell of the next — the rule newcomers most often overlook, and the source of most of the pairs they miss. A row emptied completely disappears, which brings distant numbers into contact, so the order of clearing decides how long a board survives. When nothing is left to pair, the remaining digits can be appended again a limited number of times.
How to Play
Select a pair of digits that either match each other or total ten. The path between them must be clear, counting horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or wrapping from one line to the next. When no pair remains, add the leftover numbers again to carry on.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Clear the top rows whenever you can. Removing a complete line takes it off the board permanently, and keeping the board short is what stops you running out of space in the late game.
Remember pairs connect across the end of a row into the start of the next, not just side by side. Players miss most of their available moves by reading the grid strictly in two dimensions.
Spend added rows deliberately. Adding is your escape from a stuck board, but every addition lengthens the grid — so take every available pair before you add, not after.
Prefer matches that bring the numbers above and below each other into contact. Removing a pair closes a gap, and the value of a move is largely in what it puts next to what.
