Find the route through a freshly generated maze that grows with each escape.
About Maze Run
Every round draws a new maze, which means there is nothing to memorise and nothing to look up. You begin in one corner and must reach the marker in the far one. Each escape enlarges the next grid, and beyond a certain size wandering stops working altogether. Two methods reliably do: keeping one hand on a single wall all the way round, or marking each junction as you leave it so a dead end costs you one backtrack rather than several. It is a test of orientation and of the patience to retrace rather than press on.
How to Play
Move with the arrow keys, a swipe, or the on-screen buttons. Escape by reaching the marker in the opposite corner. Each level builds a larger maze. Your steps and time are both recorded.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Wall following solves any maze whose walls all connect to the outer boundary: keep one hand permanently on the left wall, or permanently on the right, and walk. It is rarely the shortest route but it never loops forever, which makes it the safe choice when you are lost.
It fails on mazes with free-standing island walls, where you can circle an island forever. If you notice you have returned to a junction you recognise, switch to marking instead: note each junction you leave and which exits you have tried, and never take a tried exit twice.
For speed, work from both ends. Trace back from the exit as well as forward from the start — dead ends are usually obvious in reverse, and the two searches meet in far less time than either takes alone.
When the whole maze is on screen, scan for long corridors first. They form the skeleton of nearly every layout, and the route is generally a chain of those corridors joined by short connections.
