About TriPeaks Solitaire
TriPeaks is played as a single long chain: any exposed card ranked immediately above or below the card on the waste pile can be taken, and it becomes the new target. Ace links King to Two, so the sequence wraps round and no rank is ever a full stop. Where the game gets interesting is the fork — when two cards would both play, the right one is whichever opens more of the board behind it, not whichever is nearer. Scoring rewards unbroken runs, so every draw from the stock costs you a multiplier as well as a card, and knowing when to spend one is most of the skill.
How to Play
Play any uncovered card one rank higher or lower than the card on the waste pile. Aces wrap, so King, Ace and Two all connect. A longer chain without drawing scores more; draw from the stock only when the board offers nothing.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Chains are where the game is won. A single removal scores little, but running six or eight cards in sequence without touching the stock multiplies the score dramatically. Before taking a card, look for whether it starts a run.
Work the peaks down evenly rather than clearing one first. Every card covers two below it, so spreading your removals opens far more of the board than tunnelling into one corner.
When two cards would both continue your run, take the one that uncovers more. A card at the join of two peaks frees two cards at once, and the run that keeps the most options alive is the one that keeps going.
Spend a stock card deliberately to reset a dead run rather than forcing a bad removal. Breaking a chain costs you the multiplier, but opening a wrong card can cost you the deal.
