About Aces Up
Aces Up deals four cards at a time into four columns, and whenever two exposed cards share a suit the lower of them is discarded, with Aces ranked highest. That rule is mechanical; the decision is what to do with a column once it empties, because any exposed card may be moved into the gap. Move the wrong one and you bury a card you needed uncovered, or waste the only space that could have saved the next deal. Perfect games are rare, and the margin between a strong player and a hasty one shows up entirely in how those empty columns are spent.
How to Play
Discard the lower of any two exposed cards in the same suit. Aces rank above Kings. Move any exposed card into an empty column to free the card beneath it. Deal four more cards when you are stuck. The deal is won if only the four Aces remain.
💡 Tips & Strategy
Remove the highest cards of over-represented suits first. The goal is to strip everything except the four aces, and the fastest route is to clear the cards that block your columns rather than whichever removal you notice first.
Guard your empty columns. Moving a card into a space is the only way to reach the card beneath it, so filling a space just to tidy the board wastes your most valuable resource. Keep at least one space in reserve when you can.
Move aces into empty columns early. An ace at the base of a column can never be removed and never helps, so parking it out of the way stops it blocking a column you need.
Before dealing a new row, take every removal available. The deal covers all four columns at once, and a card that was one removal from being freed will be buried for several more turns.
